AsianInvestor hosted its third annual Insurance Investment Forum at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Hong Kong on February 18. Here we present a gallery of photos from the event.

More than 100 insurance industry executives – including chief investment officers, finance directors and investment team leaders – gathered for AsianInvestor's third annual Insurance Investment Forum.

Highlights of the event at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Hong Kong on February 18 included a presentation by Simon Pilcher, chief executive of fixed income at UK-based M&G Investments, on insurance companies' fixed income investment trends.

A panel discussion saw investment heads from AIA, Axa, BNP Paribas Cardif and Zurich outline what they are doing to meet their liabilities.

Meanwhile, Mark Konyn, CIO of AIA, voiced concerns that complacency among Asian governments and regulators may allow China to dominate the region's capital markets, to the detriment of insurers' investment portfolios.
