ING appoints head of equities in Japan

Dominic Henderson gets the job.

ING has appointed Dominic Henderson as its new head of Equities in Japan. Henderson most recently worked as head of global Japanese equity sales for JPMorgan Securities in Tokyo where he managed a team of 35 salespeople. Prior to this, he spent six years in New York with Robert Fleming as head of sales for North America and before this six years in equity sales with Jardine Fleming in Tokyo.

Henderson will report to Peter Johnson, ING's Head of International Equities and also to John Howland-Jackson, CEO ING Securities, Japan. He replaces Richard Hoskin, who has left ING to pursue other opportunities.

"We're very pleased to welcome Dominic to our growing pan-Asian equity franchise," says Johnson. "His many years of experience in both Japanese and global sales assignments make him a valuable addition to the Japanese equity product."
