UBS Warburg makes CRM and distribution appointments in Asia

UBS Warburg reinforces client relationship management and Asian distribution capabilities.

UBS Warburg has hired Mayur Ghelani as the managing director and head of client relationship management for Asia, excluding Japan. Ghelani will be responsible for developing relationships with institutional clients for both Credit Fixed Income and Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange. He will report to Andrew Bloomfield, managing director and global head of client relationship directors.

Ghelani will continue in his present role as fixed income country head for Southeast Asia and as a member of the Credit Fixed Income and Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Asian management team, though his distribution responsibilities will now be handled by Deborah Ho and Jang Ho Park.

Deborah Ho joins UBS Warburg as managing director and head of Asian distribution - South Asia and Greater China. She joins the distribution team from JP Morgan Securities Asia in Singapore where she was head of Fixed Income Distribution in Emerging Asia and has 10 years of experience in fixed income distribution. Ho will report to David Shulman and Kevin Regan, managing directors, co-heads of Global Fixed Income Distribution and in the region to Sharon Mitchell, managing director and head of Fixed Income non-Japan Asia.
