ING Barings names Song head of corporate finance Korea

Kyungsup Song, formerly managing director of HSBC Corporate Finance, moves today to take up the position of managing director and head of corporate finance at ING Barings in Korea.

Based in Seoul, Song will report locally to KH Yoon, country head for Korea and head of corporate and institutional finance, and functionally to David Hudson, CEO for ING Barings in Asia.

Prior to HSBC, where he worked for four years, Song spent 10 years at Daewoo Securities.

Commenting on the appointment, Hudson remarked: "We are delighted that Mr Song is joining ING Barings. Our Korean franchise represents an important part of our Asian business and we now have a strong team in place to further capitalize on the opportunities there."
