ING Barings builds equity team

ING Barings has hired 5 new staff for its equities research, sales and trading divisions.

ING Baring's Hong Kong and Seoul teams have received a staff boost, following the appointment of five personnel to the equities research, sales and trading divisions.

Both Eddie Ng and Gladys Mok have joined the company from Deutsche. Ng brings 15 years trading experience in Hong Kong with him, while Mok has eight years experience, six of which were spent at Salomon Smith Barney. Ng and Mok will join the Hong Kong team.

Eugene Ha is moving on from Samsung Securities to take the position of head of research at ING Barings, based in Korea. Ha has extensive experience and held the position of head of equity and technology research at Samsung for three years. Prior, he was employed by Schroeders Securities.

Joyce Kwan has left UBS Warburg to join ING Barings as a senior salesperson. Eva Lee has come onboard as a Hong Kong property analyst from Credit Suisse.
