New head for CSFBÆs Asian strategy team

In his new role as chief regional strategist, Paterson will lead a team of four in Asia. Prior to taking up this position, he was co-head of CSFB’s global emerging markets strategy research. Paterson, who is a director of the company, joined CSFB last year from CLSA where he was global emerging markets strategist.

Commenting on the appointment, SJ Hwang, CSFB’s regional head of research, says: “Stewart brings with him many years of experience and a remarkable track record. Our clients are pleased to learn that someone of his caliber is at the helm of Asian strategy research. In this role, Stewart will be spending considerable time in both Asia and the UK in response to clients’ call for greater integration of CSFB’s Asian and global strategy products.”
