HSBC appoints new Hong Kong corporate trust head

Alistair Murray leaves Bank of Butterfield to take up new role with HSBC.

HSBC Trustee, the collective name given to the banking group's trust services business, has announced the appointment of Alistair Murray as head of corporate trust services for Hong Kong.

Reporting to Jonathan Hubbard, managing director of HSBC Trustee in Asia, Murray will be responsible for the operation of HSBC's corporate trust, custody and fund administration business in the SAR.

Murray joins the bank from the Bank of Butterfield.
