DKB appoints John Fogarty as head of equity syndicate

Fogarty joins DKB after 10 years at Daiwa SB Capital Markets, where he was most recently the firm's head of Asian Equity Capital Markets with a focus on large-scale privatization transactions. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, he spent eight years in London at Daiwa Europe, where he worked on a wide number of privatizations in Western and Eastern Europe.

Patrick Gahan, DKB's head of Equity Capital Markets, says of the appointment, "John's considerable regional and product experience will add significantly to our client offering in Asia. His appointment is further evidence of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson's ongoing commitment to the development of its business in the Asian region."

Fogarty started at DKB on September 1, reporting to Gahan. He graduated from University College Dublin in 1989.
