Data Centre: Allure of alts set to grow with asset owners
Asset owners offered clarity about their alternative investment preferences at our 13th Asia Investment Summit.
The continuing need of asset owners to generate steady returns has prompted them to consider a variety of investment options including non-traditional alternatives, as well as reconsider the fees they pay.
At AsianInvestor’s 13th annual investment forum held on May 301 and 31, 45 asset owners with assets under management of $100 million and more offered their views on an array of questions, in particular on the newer forms of investing.
From the alternative asset in which they are most likely to raise allocations to whether they are planning to reduce the actively managed portion of their portfolios, the preferences of asset owners were revealing.
