Au named head of Northern Trust

Northern Trust has appointed Lawrence Au managing director and general manager of the Northern Trust Company of Hong Kong Limited (Northern Trust Hong Kong). Au was formerly vice-president at the Bank of New York (Hong Kong & Singapore) and prior to that, with JP Morgan (HK) as vice-president in Securities Trust and Information Service. He will be an integral part of Northern Trust's expansion into nearby markets, and reports to Jeffrey Conover, senior vice-president and general manager, Asia Pacific.
