New hire for UBS Warburg Taiwan
UBS Warburg has appointed Sharon Su as head of Taiwan technology research and head of regional information technology hardware.
Prior to joining UBS, Su was regional head of systems and components research at ABN AMRO.
"A combination of detailed industry knowledge and high quality stock analysis has resulted in Sharon consistently achieving top ratings for Taiwanese and technology research over the past few years," says Michael Oertli, head of Asian research at UBS Warburg.
Also joining UBS from ABN AMRO is Iris Lin, who will be responsible for Taiwanese component stocks. Lin has worked alongside Su at ABN AMRO for the past 18 months.
Both appointments are effective on 27 April 2001.
