Merrill appoints Murray Asian bank credit analyst

In a move to strengthen its regional credit research capabilities, Merrill Lynch has appointed Alison Murray as Asian bank credit analyst. Previously director of Financial Institutions Ratings at Standards & Poor’s in Australia, responsible for bank credit ratings in Thailand, Indonesia and India, Murray brings with her a wealth of credit rating experience.

Prior to her role with Standard & Poor’s Murray was with National Australia Bank for 13 years working in a variety of positions in wholesale and corporate banking. Based in Hong Kong, Murray will report to Jason Carley, head of Asia-Pacific Credit Research.
