Lehman Brothers appoints new head

With the ongoing expansion of the companyÆs fixed income franchise in Asia, Lehman Brothers has appointed Hiroyuki Mukaibo as head of foreign exchange business for Lehman Brothers Asia, based in Japan. He will report to Tarun Jotwani, managing director and head of fixed income in Asia.

Mukaibo was most recently with IBJ/Nomura Financial Products as head of its foreign exchange derivatives group. Prior to that, he worked with Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse First Boston. Mukaibo has over 13 years of experience in the industry.

Jotwani said, "The addition of Mukaibo-san, with his expertise and experience in the foreign exchange business, will enhance our ability to better service our customers and is a key element to the continued success of our business in Asia."
