Lehman adds to research team in Seoul

Sangwan Kang and Ken Kim are hired.

The US investment bank has appointed Sangwan Kang as a senior research analyst and Ken Kim as a junior research analyst, reporting to head of Korea equity research Yong Chul Yoon.

Kang joins Lehman from Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was an associate covering the technology sector. Kim joins from Morgan Stanley, where he was also an associate based in Singapore and Seoul.

Commenting on the hires, Benoit Savoret, ceo of Asian equities says, "The appointment of Sangwan and Ken to our equity research team in Korea further reflects the firm's commitment to this key region. Both professionals will work closely with our technology analysts in the US, Europe and Taiwan to further our global coverage of this sector."

Kang is a graduate of Seoul National University, while Kim is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
