Legal-eagle Rothman moves to Beijing

Warren H. Rothman joins the international law firm of Paul, Weiss, Wharton & Garrison.

Warren H. Rothman has joined the international law firm of Paul, Weiss, Wharton & Garrison, based in Beijing. His practice will cover ChinaÆs information technology markets, including hardware, software, internet, broadband and telecommunications.

Rothman comes from the New York office of Cahill Gordon & Reindel, where he managed landmark public offerings from MCI and Nippon Telegraph & Telephone, and represented major investment banks.

He previously served as an in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 company, and has conducted large-scale China management consulting projects for Microsoft, National Semiconductor, Micron Electronics and Centigram Communciations.
