HSBC gets new cash management head

Lawrence Webb succeeds Andrew Long as new head of payments and cash management for Asia Pacific.

Not long after a reshuffle of cash management executives at HSBC in November, another shift has occurred in the Hong Kong office. Andrew Long steps down next week to take on a new role within the bank and stepping into his shoes is Lawrence Webb, currently senior vice president in charge of market development.

A part of the cash management team in Hong Kong since 1997, Webb will continue the development of services, with an emphasis on new product rollouts and implementation and customer service. He will responsible for cash management, payments and electronic banking  for 22 countries and territories throughout the Asia-Pacific.

The senior management team remains otherwise unchanged.
