Goldman Sachs has announced that C.K. Lee, formerly managing director and chairman of UBS Warburg's Korean operations, has joined the firm as managing director, country head and co-branch manager of Goldman Sachs Korea.
Lee will share his co-branch manager duties with Tommy Oh, who continues in that role along with his position as managing director in Goldman's Seoul office.
Lee has over fifteen years of investment banking experience and advised many major Korean corporations and governmental entities in capital raising and strategic assignments.
"CK's addition is a strong statement of Goldman Sachs' continuing commitment to, and investment in the Korean market," says Michael Carr, head of investment banking for Goldman Sachs in Asia. "Adding his proven skills and capabilities to the existing strengths of Tommy Oh will provide our Korean clients with even better service and advice to help them achieve their goals."
