Deutsche gets new Taiwan tech analyst

Tan Eng Keng takes VP role in Taipei.

Deutsche BankÆs Global Equities Division has appointed Tan Eng Keng as vice president, technology research analyst. Based in Taipei, he will report to Hong Kong-based Mark Baughan, head of technology research, Asia.

Tan joins Deutsche Bank from Salomon Smith Barney in Taiwan where he was an investment analyst. There he specialised in semiconductors and later in PC-related sectors. Prior to that, he acted as a corporate valuation consultant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Taiwan and China where he covered the chemical, electronic and aviation industry sectors.
