Deutsche Bank has appointed Michael Luk as director of its debt capital markets for global markets.

Luk will be responsible for cross-border product origination throughout the non-Japan Asian region. He will be reporting directly to Rahul Mookerjee and C H Tee, Asian co-heads of debt capital markets and liability risk management.

Luk was formerly the director of debt capital markets at Salomon Smith Barney in Hong Kong where he covered primary debt origination of the Asia-Pacific region as well as the investment grade and high yield sector of Southeast Asia. Prior, he worked in various corporate finance positions in Citicorp group in Australia, Thailand, and Hong Kong.

“We are very pleased to have Michael join the team to help raise the bank’s cross-border financing to the next level with our clients,” says Mookerjee. “Michael brings with him a wealth of experience across Asia, Europe, and the United States.”
