Deutsche Bank adds to Australasian equity sales team

Deutsche Bank has announced the appointment of Rania Lababidy as director of sales for Australasian equities. Based in London, Lababidy will report to Philip Staveley, head of Asian equity sales and another relatively recent hire as Deutsche looks to boost its presence in the region's equity markets.

Lababidy, who joins Deutsche after seven years with ABN Amro, will be responsible for expanding sales of equity products from Australasia to clients based in UK and Europe.

"Rania's experience in selling Asian equity products in Europe is very broad and this will stand her in good stead in her new role with Deutsche Bank," says Staveley. "We are looking forward to her contributing to Deutsche Bank's well-regarded tradition of providing quality products for our European customers."
