Moody, who was previously managing director of Zurich Scudder Investments Asia Limited, will also serve on the Zurich Scudder Investments Management Committee and as chairman of Zurich Scudder Investments Japan.

"This is an exciting time in the Asia Pacific part of the world, and we have great confidence in Anthony Moody's ability to increase our already successful and meaningful presence," says Zurich Scudder Investments' CEO Edmond D. Villani. "Anthony's experience in Hong Kong and Japan, as well as his deep knowledge of both the institutional and retail investment businesses, will serve our Asia Pacific operations well."

Prior to working for Zurich Scudder Investments, Moody spent 28 years with Continental Bank/Bank of America in North America, the Caribbean, Japan and Hong Kong. He has over 10 years' experience in Asia.

Moody succeeds Lynn Birdsong, who held the position on an interim basis, and who will remain active in the Asia Pacific region in his role as global institutional leader.
