Recruitment firm strengthens Asian team

The Whitney Group makes new appointments to better serve the financial community in Asia.

The Whitney Group, a global search firm, has expanded its team in Tokyo, adding two directors, Adriana Ennab and Sarah Rymell. Ennab was previously with Merrill Lynch, working in London and more recently in Tokyo. Rymell joins from Morgan Stanley in Tokyo, having worked for the bank in Paris and London.

Commenting on the hires, Stephen Clasper, chief executive for Asia said the need for specialists is critical, especially given that investment banks in Japan place an enormous premium on the ability to find undiscovered talent.

In Hong Kong, two consultants have been appointed. Richard Draycott joins the team from Robert Walters and Jacquie Harris moves form Marcus Evans in Hong Kong, where she was director of sales for their business intelligence division.
