Maddux moves from Morgan to Morgan

JP Morgan''s long standing credit analyst Merrit Maddux is leaving the firm to join Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Maddux will join Morgan Stanley at the beginning of March after spending seven and a half years at JP Morgan, where he has most recently been head of corporate credit research for the Asia Pacific region.

In his new employ, he will become an analyst for Morgan Stanley's distressed debt/high yield team and will continue to be based in Tokyo, where he has been with JP Morgan for the past two years.

Prior to JP Morgan, he worked for Chemical Bank.
