Chase changes global syndicated finance line-up

Tong-Poh Tay and Paul Barlett are appointed co-heads Global Syndicated Finance for Asia-Pacific.

Tong-Poh Tay and Paul Barlett have been appointed co-heads Global Syndicated Finance for Asia-Pacific at Chase Manhattan Bank. They will both be based in Hong Kong, with Barlett relocating from Sydney at the end of July. 

London-based vice-president Cheryl Boucher is also joining the Hong Kong office, where she will continue to focus on media and telecommunications.

Charles Pelham, the current head of distribution in Hong Kong, will return to London to take up his new position as head of distribution for Europe and Asia-Pacific. Jose Cortes will assume responsibility for distribution in Asia-Pacific.

Hiroki Yoshida has arrived from New York, where he was mananging director of distribution, to lead the company's syndicated finance business in Japan.
