William Lo has been appointed finance director of Grosvenor at the firm's Asia headquarters in Hong Kong. Grosvenor is the privately owned property development, investment and management company owned by the Duke of Westminster, Britain's richest man.

Lo joins the firm after 11 years as finance director of AIA Capital Corporation in Hong Kong. Prior to that he spent six years with Coopers & Lybrand. He is both a CFA charterholder and qualified CPA.

"We are delighted to welcome William on board," says Nicholas Loup, Managing Director of Grosvenor in Asia. "His background and experience at AIA will add considerable value as we expand our current activities in Hong Kong and Tokyo and explore new opportunities in Beijing and Shanghai."

Grosvenor has had a presence in Hong Kong for the past eight years. It also has Asian offices in Tokyo and Sydney. In December 1999 the firm entered into a JV with Hongkong Land to run a luxury residential property fund under the name of Grosvenor Land.
