Barclays hires Andreas Kuhnle for alternatives
Andreas Kuhnle leaves Deutsche Bank to handle product development at Barclays Wealth in Singapore.
Barclays Wealth has hired Andreas Kuhnle in the role of associate director of alternative investments product development.
He will be based in Singapore, domicile of the Singapore investment vehicle Temasek, which chipped in approximately $2 billion in 2007 for a 2.1% stake in Barclays.
He will report to Barbara-Ann King, Barclays Wealth global head of alternative product development, and locally to Werner Schlossmacher, head of private bank coverage for Barclays Capital in Asia.
KuhnleÆs job will involve both strategy and product delivery across hedge funds, private equity and real estate.
He had previously spent 12 years working at Deutsche Bank in the UK, Germany and Singapore, most recently tackling alternative investment growth in both advisory sales and portfolio structuring.
