Alex Yeung Sau-Hung makes it to the top

DBS Vickers Securities announces a new CEO for its Hong Kong operations.

DBS Vickers Securities has announced that it has appointed Alex Yeung Sau Hung as the head of its Hong Kong operation. The appointment will be effective from September 1. He takes over from Yip Lai Shing who is leaving the firm to pursue his own business interests in China.

Yeung is a familiar face in Hong Kong stock broking circles having served in high positions in a number of well-known firms. Most recently he was deputy chairman of Orient Power Holdings, a position he held for four years. Prior to that he was head of greater China equities at Deutsche Bank and MD of Deutsche Securities Hong Kong. Before that he held senior position at the old Swiss Bank Corporation.

"Drawing on his extensive experience, Alex will be a key member of our management team and play a strategic role in growing our business in the region," notes Greg Seow, chairman of DBS Vickers Securities in Singapore.
