ABN AMRO Securities Japan makes senior appointments

ABN AMRO Securities Japan has made a number of senior appointments as part of its global wholesale clients strategy.

Mime Egami has been appointed as assistant director in equity capital markets. In her new role, Egami will be strengthening the bank's corporate coverage and equity capital raising activities in Japan. Egami was previously a member of ABN Amro's corporate banking team in Tokyo and executive director at CIBC Wood Gundy in debt capital markets and derivatives.

Mutsuhitko Matsubara has also been appointed as head of equity sales for ABN Amro Securities Japan. He was previously with Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was head of domestic sales in Tokyo, and prior to that, held senior equity sales positions at Schroder Securities and Lehman Brothers Securities in Japan.

Nick Smith is joining as a senior equity analyst covering the chemical sector. Smith was previously a regional analyst at Jardine Fleming Securities, also covering the same sector.

Sachiko Tsutsui will join the company as an IT and software services analyst in Tokyo. She joins from Gartner Group, where she was a senior analyst in IT services.
