Wilco appoints regional sales manager

Mark Dunstan is moving to Hong Kong for the new role.

Wilco International, a vendor of securities processing systems, has announced the appointment of Mark Dunstan to a newly created position as regional sales manager for its Asia Pacific operations. Dunstan, who will be based in Hong Kong, will report to Wilco's sales and marketing director, Paul Thomas.

As regional sales manager, Dunstan will have responsibility for the direction and management of the sales, sales support, channels, alliances and marketing activities undertaken by Wilco's offices in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney. He takes up the post in September.

The creation of the position and appointment of Dunstan is the latest initiative by Wilco in the Asia Pacific aimed at further raising its profile and that of its securities processing systems in the region. Other recent initiatives have included the acquisition of the Australian securities processing system SUMMIT in February 2001, and the development of new functionality for the Japanese markets.
