Seoul loses urbane banker

Senior JPMorgan figure to go to Zurich.

JPMorgan's urbane man in Seoul, Edward Campbell-Harris is about to relocate to Zurich, where he will be head of Asian equity sales for Continental Europe.

Having spent four-and-a-half years in Asia's most expatriate-friendly city, one wonders how he will deal with the challenges of Zurich. Campbell-Harris moved to Korea at the height of the financial crisis to run the Jardine Fleming franchise. During his tenure, he built the broking and sales side up, gaining the firm a top ranking among foreign institutional investors.

Observers note that his relocation to Europe will be a further dilution of the old JF culture in the new behemoth, JPMorgan.
