AsianInvestor and FinanceAsia hosted their first ever Africa Investment Summit in Hong Kong on September 26-27. Here we present a gallery of photos from the event.
The inaugural two-day event was opened with a keynote address by Hendrik du Toit, chief executive and founder of South Africa's Investec Asset Management.
The first day featured panel discussions on Africa's economic renaissance, its rising trade and investment flows with Asia, potential private equity and infrastructure opportunities, its equities markets and Asian investor perceptions of the continent.
Day 2 began with a Q&A on harnessing African innovation, and was followed by panels on commodity investments, a focus on Nigeria, Kenya and Zimbabwe and, finally, a panel on fixed income investments.
