OCBC Bank has appointed Patrick Yeoh Khawi Hoh as non-executive director to the bank's board which brings the number of board of directors of OCBC Bank to 10.

Yeoh, 63, has more than three decades of experience in the Asian banking and financial sector. He spent 25 years with DBS and was president and director, as well as deputy chairman of DBS’s executive committee. He also chaired several of the bank’s subsidiaries, DBS Finance, DBS Land, and DBS Securities. Following his long-term service with DBS, he joined Tat Lee Bank (now Keppel Tatlee Bank) where he served as a director for two years.

In addition to his banking career, Yeoh is an active participant in many local and regional committees and associations in the financial sector such as the Association of Banks in Singapore. He has been an advisor of Economic Development Board for more than eight years and is currently holding directorship with a number of corporations in Singapore.

“We will certainly benefit from Mr Yeoh’s wisdom and rich experience in the Asian financial industry,” says Lee Seng Wee, chairman of OCBC Bank. “As OCBC Bank continues to forge ahead in its expansion, we are confident that Mr Yeoh will make an invaluable contribution to the bank’s ongoing strategies for growth and development, given his strategic insights into the regional financial industry and hands-on knowledge of banking.”
