New hire for Goldman's Korean team

Goldman Sachs has upped its Asian research capacity with the appointment of Terence Lim to the newly created position of head of Korean research and market strategy.

Lim, who will be based in Seoul, joins Goldman Sachs from Merrill Lynch, where he held the same position from 1997 until present.

Lim will lead his new employers' equity research coverage of the key corporate sectors and companies in Korea.

Working alongside Lim will be three senior analysts: Shawn Kim will cover technology; Young Woo Chang has responsibility for industrials; and Yong-Chul Yoon will look at the banking sector.
