Linklaters hires new senior partner

Patrick Fontaine has moved to Linklaters where he will boost the firm''s presence in Asian banking and project finance.

International law firm Linklaters has added to its Asian banking team with the appointment of Patrick Fontaine as a partner in its Hong practice. Fontaine joins Linklaters from Baker & McKenzie, where he had several years experience in banking and project finance.

"We are very pleased to be joined by Patrick, given his reputation and track record in Asia," says Andrew Roberts, managing partner for the firm in Asia. "He will join a very active and able team in the growth of our banking and finance practice and Asia. He will also contribute a special interest and expertise in the development of our China banking and finance practice."
