Liang joins corporate finance team at Vanda

Hong Kong-listed Vanda Systems and Communications has appointed T.T. Liang as deputy manager of the Corporate Finance Division. In his new position, Liang's responsibilities will include additional fund raising and strategic planning for future IPO and M&A activities for the company and its subsidiaries.

 Vandais an IT solutions provider, with the majority of operations focused on systems integration, e-commerce development and distribution of computer systems throughout Asia. Vanda is IBM's largest business partner in Asia outside Japan.

Liang has held a number of senior financial positions in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Canada, including a stint as general manager of SHK China Fund Management. Commenting on Liang's appointment, Lam Hon Nam, chairman of Vanda Group said, "Mr. Liang is a well experienced financial expert with wide exposure in Greater China and international markets. We are glad to have Mr. Liang joining our management team to help in strengthening Vanda's capacity to raise funds and hasten strategic development."
