AsianInvestor today announces a new partnership with Inside ETFs, the world's leading exchange-traded fund events and education company, to launch the inaugural Inside ETFs Asia conference.
The conference, to be held at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on November 8 and 9, will bring together a diverse audience of institutional investors, hedge funds, family offices, DFMs, fund selectors, academics and all elements of the Asian ETF ecosystem to discuss the most important issues facing Asia-based investors today.
“We’ve noticed a huge pickup in interest in ETFs from our audience, and we know there is demand for a world-class ETF conference,” said Alastair Hills, head of conferences and Asset Owner Insights at AsianInvestor. “Inside ETFs is by far the global leader in ETF-related events, and we are delighted to partner with them as they enter the Asian market.”
Inside ETFs is the largest ETF conference in the world, now entering its 11th year; the 2017 event attracted some 2,300 delegates. It also runs the biggest ETF conference in Europe, Inside ETFs Europe, now entering its eighth year; the 2017 conference will take place in October.
Inside ETFs Asia will be the firm’s first foray into the Asian market.
Matt Hougan, CEO of Inside ETFs, said: “ETFs are the fastest-growing product in the investment management industry and are fundamentally disrupting how investors access markets and build portfolios around the world.
“With the emerging growth of the Asian ETF industry and the recent decision by MSCI to add China A-shares to its emerging market indexes, the time is right to bring the Inside ETFs franchise to Asia.
"We are delighted to partner with AsianInvestor to achieve this goal, as it brings extensive local market knowledge and massive reach into the institutional investor community, which will be critical in making the event an immediate success.”
Inside ETFs Asia will feature two days of hard-hitting content exploring how to use ETFs to mitigate risk, improve performance and meet today’s investment challenges.
The event will feature everything from introductory workshops to deep dives into regulation, trading and more, keeping attendees one step ahead of their peers, and helping them navigate any potential risks that may arise when incorporating ETFs into a portfolio.
