Edelman appoints two financial communications directors

Based in Hong Kong, both women have been hired from Gavin Anderson and in their new roles will report to Mike Geczi, president Asia Pacific Financial.

Perng will be responsible for providing financial communications strategies for multinational clients in their capital markets fundraising and investor relations activities. Prior to Edelman, she was an Associate Director at Gavin Anderson, providing strategic advice to clients including Barclays Capital and Indosuez WI Carr. She began her career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch in corporate finance and equity capital markets in New York, London and Hong Kong.

Corliss will focus on financial and corporate communications. Also previously an Associate Director at Gavin Anderson, she provided advice to clients including Salomon Smith Barney, SG Securities, UBS Warburg, ION Global and CLSA. Prior to this, she was responsible for group corporate communications at Jardine Fleming.
