H.C. Liu will be heading up the new equity derivatives operation, moving from DrKW's Tokyo office where he was responsible for index derivatives, exotic derivatives and Asian derivatives. Prior to DrKW, Liu was at Bear Stearns in Hong Kong for three years where he was managing director in charge of Hong Kong derivatives.

In his new role, Liu will be supported by Michael Chang, and both will be based in DrKW's Hong Kong office.

Commenting on his new position and DrKW's commencement of equity derivatives trading, Liu says: "It is exciting that DrKW is commencing equity derivatives operations in the region. This will continue to enhance our equities product offering to our clients. I am delighted to return to the Hong Kong market, where I can use DrKW's excellent equity research capability to evaluate potential warrant success."
