Dio Wong joins the thundering herd

Wong leaves CLSA to join strategy team at Merrill Lynch.

Dio Wong has left his position as head of Hong Kong research at CLSA and has joined Merrill Lynch as a regional strategist, also based in Hong Kong. Wong is joining Merrill Lynch to replace Sadiq Currimbhoy who has been transferred to a new position in New York.

Wong will work with fellow strategists Louisa Fok and Min Lan Tan. He will report to Hun Soo Kim, head of Asia Pacific research and to the head of strategy at Merrill Lynch in New York.
