Colglazier takes Standard AM debt post
Former First State bigwig takes on newly created role as head of fixed income.
Standard Asset Management has announced that Asian veteran Kevin Colglazier has been appointed to a newly created role as head of fixed income. Based in London, he will draw on his 18 years of investment experience for the investment management division of Standard Bank and Standard Americas.
He joins the firm from First State Investments, where he was head of global fixed interest . At First State, he oversaw its full range of fixed income funds managed from Europe and Asia.
Prior to this role, Colglazier was head of global fixed income at GAM . He also honed his skills at Chase Manhattan Private Bank as chief investment officer for Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific region.
