ABN appoints new private banking head

Hans Diederen named head of private banking for North Asia.
ABN AMRO has appointed Hans Diederen as head of private banking for North Asia, which is a Hong Kong-based role.

Diederen has already moved to Hong Kong, and will replace ABNÆs former head of private banking for North Asia, Philippe Legrand, who departed the firm recently. He reports directly to Barend Janssens, ABNÆs head of private banking, Asia.

Diederen crosses to the new role internally. Most recently, he was country manager and head of ABNÆs private banking operations in Gibraltar. He has worked for the bank for 15 years and was previously based in Hong Kong between 1999 and 2002.
