UBS Warburg boosts team in Singapore

UBS Warburg has made two new appointments to its liability marketing and debt origination teams in Singapore. Pradipto Mazumder will take on the position of director of liability marketing and Ranobir Mukherji has been appointed director of debt origination.

Mukherji joins the company from ABN Amro Bank in Singapore where he was group vice president, fixed income origination, while Mazumder left a position as vice president at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Singapore to take on his new post at UBS Warburg.

"The arrival of Pradipto and Ranobir will help UBS Warburg consolidate its already strong position in the Asian debt markets. Their experience will be invaluable in helping the bank to participate fully as Asia's debt markets continue to grow," commented Patrick O'Brien, joint head of UBS Warburg's debt capital markets group Asia.

In a related move, Fukky Tantang, an associate director in the debt capital markets group in Hong Kong is relocating to Singapore to work closely with the two new hires.
