New derivatives head at SG CIB

SG CIB appoints new managing director for structured products.

SG CIB, part of Société Générale, has appointed Sandra Lee as managing director, head of retail, marketing and product development for the retail structured products business in Asia excluding Japan.

Lee who has ten years of experience in sales and financial business development, will concentrate on expanding SG CIB's retail business and positioning SG CIB as a reference partner in the structured products markets. To do this, she will leverage SG CIB's global capabilities in equity derivatives and the Lyxor alternative investment platform.

Lyxor AM is a subsidiary of SG, dedicated to structured funds activities.

Prior to joining SG CIB, Lee was head of retail, marketing and product development at HSBC Investments. She is also a major advocate of the asset management industry through her active involvement with various industry and regulatory bodies. Lee holds a master of business administration degree from Stanford University and a bachelor of business administration degree from Loyola Marymount University.
