BNPP IP's new Japan chief eyes overhaul

The new Japan CEO of BNP Paribas Investment Partners told AsianInvestor the firm plans to revamp its business strategy and forge closer ties with the group's investment bank unit in the country.

BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPP IP) is moving to overhaul its business in Japan, following changes to the firm’s structure elsewhere in Asia, said Ryohei Shimazaki, the new Tokyo-based chief executive.
