First Ecom.com president and CEO steps down

The president and CEO of First Ecom.com, an electronic payment gateway provider, has stepped down from the position. Harold Hutton will be resuming his previous role of president of international strategy and corporate development. Company spokesperson Phillip Baldwin says Hutton considers himself "more productive in his previous role".

Stepping up to the plate as acting president is Gregory Pek, current chairman of the board for First Ecom.com. Pek, together with Ravi Daswani, the chief operating officer, will oversee the day to day operations of the company. Pek will head a committee that will search for a new president and CEO.
