UBS adds to regional equity sales team

In Hong Kong, Pekka Johnson has been appointed as sales/account manager for the region, reporting to Michael Chin, Regional Head of Sales. Johnson's eight years of industry experience spans both fund management and generalist sales at Deutsche Securities, Kleinwort Benson and Mercury Asset Management.

Premal Madhaviji has been appointed head of sales trading for India reporting to Scott Saunders. He joins in May from DSP Merrill Lynch Group where he has been for the past eight years. Sanders comments, "PremalÆs existing strong relationships as well as his excellent understanding of the regulatory environment will contribute to the continued expansion of our business in India."

Stacey Park joins the Korea equity sales team in Seoul to cover international clients and comes from JPMorgan Seoul where she was ranked as a consumer analyst. Previously she has spent time as an investment and credit analyst. She reports to Wonjong Lee.
