Photos: 5th China Institutional Investment Forum

AsianInvestor hosted its fifth Annual China Institutional Investment Forum at the Park Hyatt Beijing on September 11, 2012.

In all, 125 officials including asset owners, distributors and fund managers attended. The event opened with a panel discussion on the state of the world's economies and what that means for China's asset managers.

It was followed by an address on adding value to Asian values, before another panel discussion on asset allocation and market access. The final discussion of the morning session was on global fixed income opportunities.

After lunch there was a debate on ETFs and their impact, followed by one on alternative investments. The event was rounded off with a discussion from the asset owners' perspective, featuring panellists from Korea Teachers Pension, National Pension Service Korea and Swiss Reinsurance.
