Simpson joins Freshfields as partner in Singapore

David Simpson is to join Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a partner in the firm's Singapore office.

Simpson, who has been with Allen, Allen & Hemsley since 1985, and in their Singapore office since 1997, read law at the University of Sydney and has a Master of Laws from Cambridge. He has advised investment banks and corporate clients on a range of M&A and securities transactions, and has extensive experience in the Asian region, particularly Indonesia where he spent six years.

"We are delighted David is joining us," says Roger Dyer, managing partner of the Freshfields in Singapore. "He will be a great addition to the team and will enable us to strengthen the service we can offer to clients across the region."
