SALE promotes CFO to deputy managing director
Phang Thim Fatt takes on more responsibility at Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise.
Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise has appointed Phang Thim Fatt as deputy managing director.
In addition to his present duty as CFO, Phang will be responsible for all cost functions, human resources, and legal departments within the company. He joined SALE in 1996 and has managed the company’s aircraft leasing business and overall financial planning.
Prior, Phang spent 17 years at Singapore Airlines where he was the manager of funding and currency, mainly responsible for financing, arranging leveraged leases and tax-based deals, and managing revenue surpluses.
“The appointment of a deputy managing director reflects the strong and continued growth of our international leasing business and the commensurate expansion of managerial responsibilities,” says Robert Martin. “Phang was promoted based on his solid expertise in the aircraft financing industry, his knowledge of the leasing industry and his management capabilities, assets which will benefit the company as it continues to build on its growth trajectory.”Sign in to read on!
