Doran launches a new Asian property fund

Private placement raises $200 million.

Doran Capital Partners has launched its Triseas Asia Property Fund via a $200 million private placement. The fund will be weighted 80% towards real estate investments in Korea, China and Hong Kong.

The remaining 20% will be invested in Southeast Asia property-related assets located in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Doran Capital Partners, which is based in Seoul, South Korea, is a privately owned real estate investment management company. The firm was founded in 2002 by its chairman, Pietro Doran.

Lawyers from the Real Estate Private Equity Group of Hong Kong law firm Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker provided Doran's legal advice for this transaction.
